“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”- Helen Keller

When I feel like life is throwing me a curve ball I always remind myself about this quote and it helps me focus less on my own self pity.

Instead of asking myself “why do I have all of this to deal with?” I ask, “What do I need to learn most from this experience?”

View the situation like a butterfly’s situation and how it must see its cocoon; as a barrier you must break thru to become the extraordinary creature you were meant to be.

So often we resist change. We resist growth opportunities. We continually stress over minute things. Work on staying focused ad becoming the person you dream to be. A few words that always help me: Don’t sweat the small stuff.

You are worth it!

Here is a quote I love: “How does one become a butterfly?” she asked. “You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”

Here are some great words from Jack Kornfield: “it is a basic principle of spiritual life that we learn the deepest things in unknown territory. Often it’s when we feel most confused inwardly and are in the midst of our greatest difficulties that something new will open. We awaken most easily to the mystery of life through our weakest side. The areas of our greatest strength where we are the most competent and clearest tend to keep us away from the mystery.” Article from the book Living a 5 Star Life.
